Uranus moving against the background stars
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun in our solar system, noted for its unusual tilted axis and pale blue-green hue. It is classified as an ice giant and has a faint system of rings composed of dark, narrow bands of dust and rock particles.
Discovered in 1781, Uranus completes an orbit around the Sun every 84 Earth years. Its atmosphere is primarily hydrogen and helium with a notable presence of methane, which absorbs red light and gives the planet its unique coloration.
These two Seestar images, taken a few days apart, show Uranus moving in relation to the background stars.
