M39 Star Cluster (The Pyramid)
Messier 39 (M39), often called the "Pyramid Cluster," is an open star cluster in the constellation Cygnus. M39 contains several dozen bright stars spread across a wide area of sky. The cluster lies about 1,000 light-years from Earth and is estimated to be roughly 200 to 300 million years old.
This picture is taken pointing toward the disk of our Milky Way. You can see the dense cloud of stars in the vicinity.
