We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Livengoods at their house in San Jose. We arrived on Sunday the 22nd and left on Friday the 27th.

New puppy Bailey had grown and matured a lot since we had seen her last, and she is a lot of fun to be around. It was great catching up with the family, including the young adults, and doing a couple of serious hikes at Quicksilver and Coyote Creek. We also did a couple of neighborhood walks.

On Thanksgiving Rick smoked a delicious turkey. The rest of the menu, although a little less elaborate than in years past, was also fantastic. During dinner we zoomed for a while with the Blomquists, who were celebrating at home in Minnesota. They are recovering from COVID-19, and we are all especially grateful, during this season of gratitude, that they are doing well.
