Again, it’s a somewhat misleading title. “Bodega Head” is the headland where we hiked, which is part of a state park. Also in some of the photos below is part of Doran Regional Park just across the bay. It’s all part of the geographic feature (and town) known as “Bodega Bay.”
This is our second recent drive to Bodega Bay, and it was another beautiful day, even if windy. As you can see from the photos below, the light was perfect for photos. We certainly are not the only folks looking for outdoor fun: the parking lot was almost full!
We hope to go back soon to take a tour of the Bodega Marine Lab, which is owned and operated by our granddaughter Miranda’s university, UC Davis. Go, Aggies!
