In late September 2008 we took an Elderhostel-sponsored trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota. We visited the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, the Crazy Horse monument, and Wall Drug, and we also saw the Custer State Park annual buffalo roundup. We were happy to have the opportunity to focus on our photography for five days, and to pick up some new Photoshop tricks.
Three groups focusing on hiking, local sightseeing, and photography stayed at the same hotel in Rapid City and shared breakfast and dinner. As always, we found the trip well organized and the other participants friendly and fun to talk to.
