Getting Acquainted with Sonoma County: Crane Creek Regional Park

On September 18, 2020, we moved from San Jose to Rohnert Park, California.

In spite of the pandemic and the Glass fire, which is just over the hill from us, we’ve spent as much time as possible looking around.

The following photos were taken by Dick or me on one of several recent hikes we did at Crane Creek Regional Park, which is just a few miles up the hill from our new home. It’s a popular place for locals to hike, bike, and play disc golf, which we had never seen in action before. It’s also an especially appealing place to view the sunset, since it has an unobstructed view to the west. And the vineyards are really lovely this time of year.
