Amazing and amusing art at the Cantor museum

On January 27, 2019, after attending the Sunday church service at Stanford Memorial Church, we spent an hour at the Cantor art museum (also on campus). We enjoyed their traveling collections of African and Asian art, which we thought were particularly creative and entertaining.

Here are a few examples.

Bill Gates
Guess who?!
Who can resist poking a little fun at the Brexit mess?! This one was also created by an African artist.

Cat glasses
These remind me of the “cat glasses” I had way back when.
Jack Daniels coffin
it looks like something out of the Jack Daniels showroom, but it’s actually a custom coffin.
