We picked a great day (January 29, 2021) to explore Bodega Bay, which is only about a half-hour drive to our west. It had rained a couple of days prior, so everything was freshly washed. The farms between our home and the ocean are already lushly green, and the famous Sonoma County cows were all out grazing in the sunshine.
We chose to walk at Doran Regional Park, which has trails both on the bay and by the ocean. The lingering clouds made a great background for landscape photography. We topped it off with a leisurely picnic.
It doesn’t get any better than this.
