Corona Diary #5: Chalk games and art, and checking out Chick-Fil-A

Chalk games and art

In our rather dull, drab, and somewhat dangerous environment, we are lucky to be living next to a popular park that lures our neighbors, their children, and their dogs outside to have a little fun. The playground being currently closed, one of the more popular pastimes for the kids is sidewalk games and art. The one above seems to be a variation on hopscotch.

The two below seem to be pure art. Thanks, kids, for brightening our days!

Checking out Chick-Fil-A

We live near a Chick-Fil-A location, and although it’s one of the most popular restaurants in the neighborhood, we hadn’t tried it out before last week.

Although we sat for 20 minutes in the take-out line, we are happy to report that the chicken sandwiches were tender and yummy, and the overall experience was positive.  We picnicked in a nearby park where they haven’t yet put up yellow tape so we can’t sit down.
